Description |

Family and Friends CPR |
Designed for members of the general
community who are interested in learning CPR but do not need a course
completion card. This course teaches CPR for adults and children, how
to help an adult or child who is choking and can include Infant CPR
and Choking if desired. Lasts 45 minutes to 1.25 hours, depending on the Infant
CPR option. |

Family and Friends First Aid for Children |
This course targets the general community
member who doesn't need a course completion card, including family
members and babysitters or others who would provide in-home care for
children. Covers injury and illness management for a child in the
first few minutes before professional help arrives. Covers preventing
injuries, recognizing and treating basic first aid emergencies and
relief of choking in infants and children. Last approx. 45 minutes and
can be taught in conjunction with Family and Friends CPR. |

Heartsaver CPR |
Designed for those who have a duty to
respond to a cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or
regulatory requirements, this class provides a course completion card
for all who need to demonstrate certification in CPR. This course
teaches CPR for adults and children, how to help an adult or child who
is choking and can include Infant CPR and Choking if desired. Lasts
approx. 3 to 3.5 hours with infant CPR and Choking training. |

Heartsaver AED |
Provides the exact same training as the
Heartsaver CPR class, but incorporates the use of an Automated
External Defibrillator (AED). This class is recommended over the
Heartsaver CPR class if your business has, or is considering having an
AED on the premises. Lasts
approx. 3 to 3.5 hours with infant CPR and Choking training. |

Heartsaver First Aid |
Designed for those who have a duty to
respond to a first aid or cardiac emergency because of job
responsibilities or regulatory requirements, this class provides a
course completion card for all who need to demonstrate certification
in First Aid. Can be taught in conjunction with Heartsaver CPR or AED.
Lasts 7.5 hours with CPR/AED, 3.5 hours without. |

Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid |
Designed for those involved in child care
who have a duty to respond to a first aid or cardiac emergency because
of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements, this class
provides a course completion card for all who need to demonstrate
certification in First Aid. Targets child care workers, teachers,
foster care workers, camp counselors, youth organizations and coaches
for children's sports organizations. Includes CPR and AED use, in
addition to First Aid Basics, Medical Emergencies, Injury Emergencies
and Environmental Emergencies. Lasts 7.5 to 8 hours with
CPR/AED, 3.5 to 4 hours without. |

BLS for Healthcare Providers |
Designed for healthcare providers, such as
EMS personnel, physician assistants, doctors, dentists, nurses, nurse
practitioners respiratory therapists and others who must have a
credential (card) documenting successful completion of a CPR course.
Cover one and two rescuer scenarios, use of a bag-valve-mask in
ventilation, foreign-body airway obstructions and use of AEDs. Approx
4 to 4.5 hours. |
